How can I use my PRIMITIVS?

Depending on which pieces and how many you choose to add to your collection, you can create decorative constellations with different aesthetics and purposes. Whether it is a candle holder, a vase or any other usage that soon will be available. 

Since PRIMITIVS is an on demand product in 3D-printed ceramics we can make lots of pieces and not have to worry about production limitations.


How does PRIMITIVS work?

Every piece has a hole at the bottom so you can pile them on top of each other. There are Connector pieces and Special pieces.

All connector pieces are "connectable", which means they can both be stacked from with under and on top of each piece. Each connector piece is also in itself a candle holder.

Special pieces adds some sort of "special feature" to your constellation. A usage or attribut of some kind like for instance our vase-pieces.

You can choose to build your PRIMITIVS collection either by starting of with one of the bigger packs or by picking one or several 2-packs. And then start adding special pieces on top of that to make it even more changeable, usable and in flux.


Why is there a small hole in the middle of some of the pieces?

All connector pieces have a small hole through because we've prepared these pieces for upcoming features. It will all make sense soon when we release more special pieces and other product series that add more functionality.


For what are the pieces safe to use?

All PRIMITIVS decoration pieces in ceramics can handle strong heat and are food safe. Don't put any pieces in the dishwasher! We recommend that you take good care of your pieces, this way they will have a long life and hopefully be part of yours for a long time.


Is there anywhere I can take a look at PRIMITIVS in any physical space?

At the moment no but we'd love to find spaces to collaborate with for pop-up showrooms. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for a collaborative space. If you're in Stockholm though let us know so that we hopefully could offer you a coffee or tea at our studio which is located in the city center.





How are PRIMITIVS made?

PRIMITIVS is made with new and innovative technology. Every piece is created out of 3D-printed ceramics after a specific design model and then gets its color and finish that we've selected for that particular piece.


Why aren't the pieces absolutely identical and totally smooth?

This is not a fabric made product but a craft made both by a 3D-printer and finished off by hand. Every piece is made uniquely for each customer. This means it will always be a tiny difference between the pieces and not a totally smooth surface. It’s like the pieces are handmade but by a robots hand and then finished with a human touch. Every piece will though fit together and be connectable as they are supposed to be.


In what way are PRIMITIVS a sustainable brand and product?

When we created PRIMITIVS we wanted from the very beginning to make something that was sustainable and that is something we thrive to be as much as possible. The way PRIMITIVS is designed (like a module based system with multiuse) is the main contribution to a sustainable way of decorating your home or space.

The fact that we don't hold any storage and all pieces are made only when "wanted" means we won't have any "product waste". All of our pieces are delivered directly to our customers from our factory. Besides cutting time it also makes less carbon footprint than it would if we would repack them at our studio and then send them.





Which payment options can I use?

You can pay with various credit cards. We use the STRIPE solution at checkout, which means that if you have a VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card you can pay with any of those. Or you can use your PAYPAL account as payment as well.





How long does it take for me to get my PRIMITIVS pieces?

Our delivery time is approximately 4-5 weeks and gets delivered home to you by our delivery supplier UPS. All PRIMITIVS are made on demand when ordered. Read more about this in detail over at terms & conditions.


Do I have to pay for shipping?

If you buy a bigger pack of PRIMITIVS or put together at least four 2-packs you don't have to pay for shipping. But if you buy a smaller amount of pieces you will have to pay for shipping and the rate depends on weight and country of delivery. The lowest shipping fee starts at 40 euro.


Which markets do you ship to?

We currently ship PRIMITIVS to 50 countries. 

More specifically: The US, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Slovenia, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Romania.

I need to change my shipping address, how do I do that?

Send us an email at and we’ll make sure your order gets to where you want it to be shipped.


Why do you only offer home delivery?

We want your experience with PRIMITIVS to be as good as possible and we think getting your pieces to your door is the most convenient delivery solution. Since we know that you might not be available during daytime (your package will be delivered between 9 a.m and 5 p.m) we’ve also made sure that you will get a notification so that you can pick up your package at the nearest access point.


What happens if I'm not at home when the delivery arrives?

Then you can pick up your package at an access point that you'll get the adress to when notified. Your package will be waiting for you maximum 10 days so make sure to pick up your package as soon as possible. After that it will be shipped back to us. You won't be able to get your money back though if you don't pick up your package, since it's been produced for you when you made your order.



Damage & returns


There’s been a damage in shipping, what do I do?

If you can see that the packaging has been damaged you need to report that as directly as possible. If you can tell the delivery person, take a photo of your package and don’t bring it anywhere (leave it in the hallway if possible) and contact us. Send us an email as soon as you can with the image and a description. We’ll get in contact with the delivery service and try to solve the problem as quick as we can.


What’s your return policy?

Since every PRIMITIVS piece is made specifically for you when ordered it is therefor a final sale product. This means we aren’t able to offer any returns as long as the piece hasn’t been damaged due to shipping. If so please let us know as soon as possible.
