How does PRIMITIVS work?
Every piece has a hole at the bottom so you can pile them on top of each other. Every design series consists of two version of pieces; Connector pieces and Closed pieces. One that makes your constellation more into a design product and the other into an art product.
Connector pieces all have a "collar" that makes it possible to connect another piece on top or use it as a candle holder directly. Closed pieces are meant to "close a constellation" and to be placed at the top or at the end of a constellation to make it into an art sculpture or just be used as it is as a table piece.
Besides these two base versions every design series has got one or more special pieces that can both have a specific purpose like a vase for example or be different in another way.
How can I use my PRIMITIVS?
PRIMITIVS can be different art and design products with a main purpose to decorate a space the way you like it. Depending on which pieces you add to your collection you can either build different sculptures for your window, table or any other suitable spot. Or you can use your pieces to build candle constellations. We'll be adding more pieces soon that will add both function and new expressions, but overall the whole idea with PRIMITIVS is that it's a changeable art & design product.
Why is there a small hole in the middle of some pieces?
We’ve prepared these pieces for upcoming features and it will all make sense in the future when we release more design series with special pieces that add more functionality.
Safe to use
All PRIMITIVS decoration pieces in porcelain are safe to use both in the oven, dishwasher and for food.
Is there anywhere I can take a look at PRIMITIVS in any physical space?
At the moment unfourtunately no but we'd love to find spaces to collaborate with for pop-up showrooms. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for a collaborative space.
How are PRIMITIVS made?
PRIMITIVS is made with new and innovative technology. Every piece is created out of 3D-printed ceramics/porcelain after a specific design model and then gets its color and finish we've selected for that particular piece.
Why are’nt the pieces absolutely identical and totally smooth?
This is not a fabric made product but a craft made both by a 3D-printer and finished off by hand. Every piece is made uniquely for each customer. This means it will always be a tiny difference between the pieces and not a totally smooth surface. It’s like the pieces are handmade but by a robots hand and then finished with a human touch. Every piece will though fit together and be connectable as they are supposed to be.
In what way are PRIMITIVS a sustainable brand and product?
When we created PRIMITIVS we wanted from the very beginning to make something that was sustainable and that is something we thrive to be as much as possible. The way PRIMITIVS is designed (like a module based system with multiuse) is the main contribution to a sustainable way of decorating. Read more about our thoughts on this over at this page.
Which payments options can I use?
You can pay with various credit cards. We use the STRIPE solution at checkout, which means that if you have a VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card you can pay with any of those. Or you can use your PAYPAL account as payment as well.
How long does it take for me to get my PRIMITIVS pieces?
Our delivery time is approximately 3-4 weeks and gets delivered home to you by our delivery supplier UPS. All PRIMITIVS are made on demand when ordered.

I need to change my shipping address, how do I do that?
Send us an email at email@example.com and we’ll make sure your order gets to where you want it to be shipped.
Why do you only offer home delivery?
We want your experience with PRIMITIVS to be as good as possible and with that we think getting your pieces to your home is the most convenient delivery solution. Since we know that you might not be available during daytime (your package will be delivered between 9 a.m and 5 p.m) we’ve also made sure that you will get a notification so that you can pick up your package at the nearest access point.
What happens if I'm not at home when the delivery arrives?
Then you can pick up your package at an access point that you'll get the adress to when notified. Your package will be waiting for you maximum 10 days so make sure to pick up your package as soon as possible. After that it will be shipped back to us. You won't be able to get your money back though if you don't pick up your package, since it's been produced for you when you made your order.
Damage & returns
There’s been a damage in shipping, what do I do?
If you can see that the packaging has been damaged you need to report that as directly as possible. If you can tell the delivery person, take a photo of your package and don’t bring it anywhere (leave it in the hallway if possible) and contact us. Send us an email as soon as you can with the image and a description. We’ll get in contact with the delivery service and try to solve the problem as quick as we can.
What’s your return policy?
Since every PRIMITIVS piece is made specifically for you when ordered it is therefor a final sale product. This means we aren’t able to offer any returns as long as the piece hasn’t been damaged due to shipping. If so please let us know as soon as possible.
